Marriage in Jeopardy

By BreakUpAdviceOnline.com Staff

The moment that two people say “ I do” is the beginning of life that is shared between two people. The decisions that need to be made no longer falls on the responsibility of one person but both since this is a partnership that both promise until death.

There will be happy moments and challenges in the days ahead. Those who really want it to work but are having a hard time should seek professional help. This can be done by talking to a doctor or a marriage counselor so that this will not fail and not end in a divorce.

One of the main reasons that marriages fail is the lack of communication. Marriages will always have problems and unless this is expressed verbally, the couple will never be able to resolve these issues. The hole is getting bigger and it will be more difficult to come out of in the long run.

Communication is not only verbal but also physical. This makes sex and intimacy important for the couple. Should the spouse not feel satisfied, this outlet is done somewhere else in an affair with someone else.

Research shows that 60% of men and 40% of women will have an extramarital affair while the person is married. Those that push it until this point and are caught usually end in divorce.

Another study shows that women are prone to bring up the idea compared to men. This means that most males don’t notice anything out of the ordinary until the paper is there and it is too late.

If people are not able to be happy with each other anymore which are evident in social gatherings and other events, the couple should talk about it. This must not drag on any further since this could bring it to the point of no return.

The problem some couples have is not spending that much time anymore with the partner. When two people started dating, both couldn’t get enough of each other. There were a lot of long conversations on the phone and late night outs before going home.

The spouses could be engrossed in work or other things and this will slowly drive a wedge between the two. This should never be gone even when the two get married since this is the best way of showing love and affection for one another.

There should always be time spent with the other partner. This doesn’t mean going out of town or the country often. A date is sometimes all it takes where the couple can make sure love is still there by watching a movie and share a meal together.

Money is an issue that both have to deal with. The spouse could be spending more than what the partner is earning. If this is the case, the people involved should talk about it and hopefully come to a compromise.

One way to solve the money problem will be letting the wife get a job if the husband is not earning much or the other way around. There are other expenses such as bills and grocery that should be taken cared of. By properly budgeting on a monthly basis, the couple will avoid fighting over money. This will help the people save on certain things which can be used on future investments.

Both men and women have needs. If the person is too insensitive to notice things such as the spouse coming home late from work, divorce is truly right around the corner.

There are a lot of trials that will test the strength of the marriage. The couple should work hard to make sure it is a happy one every single day. This can be from the smallest things in life to challenges that are too heavy to handle alone.

Marriage is not a joke. This should be taken seriously since these people will be ones who will raise a family. The children will look up to these individuals as role models.

People who somehow get lost or are confused should immediately seek help. By getting the assistance of friends, a counselor and other professionals, this will prevent it from being another failed marriage that is very common in the United States.
